The Portland Jetport is easy to fly in to and is a short 10-15 minute ride to our recommended hotels for the weekend.

Here are a few options for getting to Portland from Boston. Car RentalAbout an hour and 45 minute drive. Concord Coach LinesRegular coach bus service that picks up right at your terminal. Amtrak's DowneasterA nice 2 hour and 20 minute train ride up to Portland. It's spacious and is a nice ride. Summer is tourism season in Portland, and because of that, hotels are unfortunately on the more expensive side. We've done our best to pull together a few options that balance price and proximity to downtown Portland and our wedding venue. We also recommend you take a look at options on VRBO and Airbnb, especially for groups staying together.

The Doubletree by Hilton and Tru by Hilton are next door to each other. It's an easy 15 minute Uber ride to Portland's Old Port. Shuttle ServiceFriday evening: We will provide a shuttle from the Tru by Hilton (next door) to the welcome party (DiMillo’s on the Water), departing at 7 PM, and from DiMillo's to the Tru by Hilton at 10 PM. Saturday afternoon/evening: We will provide a shuttle from the Tru by Hilton to the wedding venue (River Winds), departing at 3:15 PM, and from River Winds to the Tru by Hilton at 10 PM.
